About Me

I was born in Brooksville, Florida, a small town about 15 miles inland from the Gulf of Mexico.  At least, it was a small town when I was growing up.  Last time I visited, I couldn’t believe all the changes.  I moved to Texas in the early eighties with my three children. I met Ronnie on a blind date and after a whirlwind courtship, we married in  1987.

I learned to read before I started school, and am an avid reader to this day.  I was editor of my high school newspaper and was also on the yearbook staff.  Over the years, I have had several magazine articles published by the Southern Baptist Convention, and a few newspaper articles appeared in print also.

I wrote skits for drama groups at three different churches, as well as sang in the choir/praise team and played piano/organ when needed.

I still work full time as an insurance agent, but in my spare time, if I’m not reading, I’m sitting at my computer working on my next book.  Or maybe just thinking about how to get the bugs out of the plot I’m currently working on. 🙂
