Book Signing

The book signing at Sit N Sip Books in Mineral Wells was so much fun. Since the event was on my birthday, my sweet friend Victoria, had a special surprise for me. A birthday cake done in the shape of my two books. I tried to show the cake in the photo, but you couldn’t make out what it was. Take my word for it though, it was amazing. There was a fist coming out of the top of the books, holding a match, representing the arsonist in Fire Light Fire Bright.

So many people came, family, friends and new friends, it really humbled me. I read an excerpt from each book, then added a teaser from my new book, “Dreams are Forever”.

I hope each and every one of you enjoy reading my books as much as I enjoyed writing them. Writing truly is my passion.

When Elsie decided to try her hand at writing a novel, Fire Light Fire Bright was born followed by Dreams Never Lie -which quickly became her publisher’s first Best-Selling Series. The Color of Thunder was published right between Dreams are Forever and Shattered Dreams. Elsie was born in Brooksville, Florida. Some of her fondest memories were swimming at Pine Island in the nearby Gulf of Mexico. Weeki Wachee Springs is where she learned to swim. In the early 1980’s, Elsie and her three children, Katie, Lisa G. and Jes moved to Texas. Shortly after moving to North Central Texas, Elsie met her husband Ronnie on a blind date and after a whirlwind courtship, they married in April 1987. After 34 years, they're still going strong.
