When I started writing Dreams Never Lie, I never imagined that it would birth an entire series. After we released it, my publisher told me he wanted a sequel, so Dreams are Forever was born. Shattered Dreams is next. Still under construction.
In my own personal reading, I hate when a book leaves you hanging, to be continued in the next book. I won’t do that. Each of my books is a complete story in itself. It has a beginning, and an end. The next book, is a completely new story, just using the same characters. It also has a beginning and an end. No cliff hangers.
Now that The Color of Thunder has been released, I’ve worked really hard and now Shattered Dreams is in the editing stage. I had put it on the back burner for a few months but once I jumped back into it, the rest of the book just kind of wrote itself. In this book, the antagonist is the one whose dreams were shattered. I feel so sorry for her and what she went through, I’m really wasn’t sure how I was going to resolve the conflicts.
With Josh and Dodge both on the job trying to solve the mystery, she doesn’t stand a chance …or does she?
