AT LAST, SHATTERED DREAMS IS HERE

I haven’t blogged in quite a while, but my life really got complicated the last few months of 2020. I had knee replacement surgery the first week in December, which put me out of work for the whole month. I went back to work in January and have been playing catch-up ever since. I found this blog that I started months ago and didn’t get it posted to my website. So I thought I’d finish it up today.

It was a long hard road to hoe, but Shattered Dreams is finally finished and was released back in October with Amazon, as are all of my books. This is book #3 in the Dreams Never Lie series.

It normally takes me around a year to complete a book from start to finish, but Shattered Dreams was two full years in the making. The plot and sub-plots got very complicated and I really wasn’t sure how I was going to get everything reconciled.

I finally just turned it over to my main characters and told them to have at it. As usual. they figured it all out and led me down paths where I had no plans to go. They did a marvelous job, much better than the ending I was kicking around. I hope you enjoy Shattered Dreams.

While I was waiting for my publisher, Eric, to put on the finishing touches, I started Hidden Dreams. It really took off! Man, I had ministers being murdered, stores being robbed, prisoners being beaten, dopelgangers, you name it -it was happening. But as the main plot started to evolve, I realized that I had way too much going on. It would take 1000 or more pages to resolve all the conflicts.

So, Forgotten Dreams was born. I took about half of what was happening in Hidden Dreams and moved it to this new book. At this point in time, I’m not sure which one will come first, but I assure you, they are both kick ass.

I do promise you this, as long as the ideas keep coming, I’ll keep writing.

“I discovered your books through my dad, and fell in love with Josh in the Dreams Are Forever series. You’ve become my favorite author and I’ll never forget actually getting to meet you when you came to Arkansas to promote your books. I haven’t read The Color of Thunder yet, but I can’t wait to dig in. Love you Elsie!” -JAIA

When Elsie decided to try her hand at writing a novel, Fire Light Fire Bright was born followed by Dreams Never Lie -which quickly became her publisher’s first Best-Selling Series. The Color of Thunder was published right between Dreams are Forever and Shattered Dreams. Elsie was born in Brooksville, Florida. Some of her fondest memories were swimming at Pine Island in the nearby Gulf of Mexico. Weeki Wachee Springs is where she learned to swim. In the early 1980’s, Elsie and her three children, Katie, Lisa G. and Jes moved to Texas. Shortly after moving to North Central Texas, Elsie met her husband Ronnie on a blind date and after a whirlwind courtship, they married in April 1987. After 34 years, they're still going strong.
